Cutler and Gross
When Cutler and Gross founded their eponymous brand in 1969, they had a vision: to reshape the eyewear industry with their one-of-a-kind, superbly handcrafted frames.
Opticians by profession, the two Englishmen employed the famous frame maker George Smith, who made each pair of glasses individually in his workshop above the shop in Knightsbridge, London.
55 years later, this artisanal tradition remains at the heart of Cutler and Gross.
